a startup idea shared by

In Europe governments and regional administrations alike do not have often enough funds to maintain monuments and sites of historical and artistic value. The idea is to create a website where donors (especially large corporation, rich entrepreneurs, financial foundations) could sponsor the renovation and maintenance of a specific monument and make a proposal to the responsible government. It will be a win-win situation for all: the donors will get free broad commercial advertising, the website charge (low) interest rates on the funds raised, the governments receive funding at lower-than-market interest rates to maintain the monuments and the tourists will profit from the renovation.
