One of the greatest dilemmas with giving money to the poor is not being able to control what they spend it on. Often i don't give homeless people money because i think they will just spend it on alcohol or drugs. The coupons work just like a store gift card, you purchase the card from a supermarket or homeless hostel and then give it to someone thats homeless.
